Question

I seem to have misplaced the Certificat d'immatriculation for my car (the pink document).

Is it easy to obtain a new one? Or do i have to apply for a new Reg Plate?

I'm guessing i will need to go to the office beside Rogier Metro - Rue du Progrès 56 ?

First you need to go to the police to report the loss. Then then with the document from the police you will have to go to Rue du Progrès 56. If the document that you lost was pink colour it means that you were still with the old documents. Now you'll get a new yellow one but also you'll get a new car plate number with the new format. I had to go through this 2 years ago. it took me 30 min with the police and more than half a day at the office at Rue du Progress

Talk to your insurance company, they might do it for you (not sure if they'll charge) but you'll have to go to the police yourself.
