Question

I am planning on buying a catflap that opens by being linked to our microchipped cat. Which brand would be best? Do the microchip catflaps work also as ordinary catflaps - I would like to have the option of using it with out without the chip connection activated. Thanks for your advice.

As far as I understand the advantage is your cat can get in but strays can't. My fiend had one in the UK but she said the door flying up as the cat approached freaked out the cat. Useful only if you have issues with other cats coming in I think
