cataracts - traditional surgery or laser

Question

Would anyone who has this procedure done - recommend laser surgery as opposed to the traditional surgery.

Cataract and laser surgery are 2 complete different issues;
laser does not replace the surgery to get a new lense into your cataract.

I had earlier this year 2 cataract surgeries (between both was 1 month, each one had before an ambulant laser surgery to fix the cracks on the cornea.
Can strongly recommend the eye center of Clinique S. Jean (site Rue du Meridien) - perfect work and services.

I, too, had cataract surgery in April and May with 1 month between the two procedures.
It was done at a clinic in the centre of Leuven - a part of Gasthuisberg - and I am absolutely delighted with the results. It was done with a local anaesthetic but there was absolutely no pain and the preparatory and follow-up checks with a local ophthalmologist were also very well organised.
The total bill for 11 visits to the ophthalmologist and the 2 operations was €560.00 and I think there may yet be something to come back from the mutuelle.

2 seperate things. But you can get both done at once.

From what I can gather, modern laser surgery is fantastic and quite safe. I know several people who've had it done and are very happy at no longer having to wear glasses.

As far as employment is concerned, there are some special termination rules for people who have reached retirement age, but they mostly apply to the notice period that is applicable when http://destinationhackathon.com/september-2017-calendar/

the person themselves is giving notice. Your employer will largely have to follow exactly the same rules as for a non-retirement eligible employee if they wish to terminate your contract.
