Canadian citizenship certificate

Question

Hi, I would like to get a Canadian citizenship certificate and then a passport for my daughter (born in 2017 in Belgium) and the process seems like an absolute nightmare of documents, translations, oaths, and affidavits. She was born in the Flemish region so only has Dutch documents.

Does anyone know of a firm who can prepare the application for me? Or can guide me through the process?

Contact the Canadian Embassy in Brussels, they will be able to help you .

I was able to get an international birth certificate from the Gemeente which saved translating (it’s in English, German and Spanish). Then I got the pictures at De Foto Studio on L. Vanderkelenstraat 7 in Leuven (they can do Canadian Passport and PR photos). I also needed my passport and then went to the Canadian Embassy and filled out a couple of forms with their help.
Hope this helps
