10:00 03/12/2017

Belgium will play England, Panama and Tunisia in the first round of next summer's football World Cup in Russia, it has been announced.

The Red Devils, drawn in Group G, will play their opening match on 18 June in Sochi against Panama, who are playing at their first-ever World Cup.

Next, the Belgian side head to Moscow on 23 June to play Tunisia. Then, Eden Hazard and company's clash with England will be on 28 June in Kaliningrad.

Belgian head coach Roberto Martinez said: "I think it is a very challenging group to be in. I have seen a few of Tunisia's games in the qualifying campaign and they played strongly."

Assuming Belgium make it to the knockout stages, their following match will be against either Poland, Senegal, Colombia or Japan, who are all drawn in Group H.

The draw for the eight groups was made on Friday at the Kremlin. The 2018 World Cup will be held from 14 June-15 July in 11 Russian cities.
