anyone want some bamboo

Question

I have trimmed a bamboo bush/tree in my back garden and now have a big bundle of bamboo branches/stalks in my garden which will tear the green gardening bags to bits. They range from 50cm to 2m in length and 0.5-1.5 cm in diameter.

Does anybody want it? Contact me to collect it from my house in Auderghem.

Otherwise, does anyone know how I'm supposed to dispose of it? Dechetterie?

Many thanks

M@

I could be interested, do you happen to have any pictures?

I don't but could take some. I've no idea if it's any good or not, I just want rid of it. At the moment it's in a massive bundle in my garden. Would you like to take some pictures of it and email you?

Do not ever plant bamboo. It is an invasive and deep rooted plant that it will cost you a great deal to eradicate.

i agree J graham - i never knew much about it before i came here other than ' "doesn't that look lovely and serene" . Silly xowner just planted a load of them willy nilly in the garden - well i wouldnt like to say how much its cost us - and still costing - to get rid!
