Annual insurance due

Question

I have house and car insurance which I want to either cancel and get a cheaper policy or at least reduce to third party. I forgot to send the 3 month notice so I know I am snookered. But I heard that if the annual premium is increased then I can reject their offer. Does anyone know if this is corect?

Yes, that is correct. If your insurance has been increased then you have 3 months period to change the company. It happened to me this year, my insurance was increase from 150 to 157 euro so I had no problem changing the company.
