Announcing pregnancy at work
Is there a LEGAL (not just accepted polite, un-official policy) requirement of WHEN I must announce my pregnancy?
I've been waiting for a raise announcement for months, when it's been promised since October- and I don't trust my consultancy to be fair if I were to announce the pregnancy before they announce what percentage of the 10% increase my client has raised the rate (for MY benefit, based on performance).
But now, I'm 5 months along and showing! It's been frustrating, to say the least, but the consultancy doesn't ever 'see' me. Now they promised (since Jan) that once Evals are finished- by end of March- they will let me know- and retroactively pay since Jan. any difference owed to me.
What should I do here?! pffttt....
