AB InBev to step up promotion of American beers in Belgium

20:49 24/08/2017

The Belgian-Brazilian brewer giant AB InBev has plans to promote a new line of American 'Goose' beers, which came on the Belgian market last year. AB InBev, which already owns popular brands like Jupiler and Leffe in Belgium, also wants to score better with beers from its popular US craft beer brand Goose Island, De Tijd reports.

To increase brand awareness in Belgium, the Goose line of beers will be available in more cafes from next month and the public can expect to see an increase in marketing efforts.

AB InBev will also count on major supermarket chains, such as Delhaize and Carrefour, to sell its Goose Island range of beers.
