Feminism is said to be an amalgamation of political and philosophical movements that history presents to us as waves. The current MeToo movement is being called the fourth wave of feminism.

In the 1970s, women were marching in the streets for abortion rights, equal pay and contraception. Some fights were won but others are still front page news.

At the Belvue Museum, The Centre d’Archives et de Recherche pour l’Histore des Femmes brings the dynamic and joyful militancy of the 1970s back in a stirring exhibition.
