Hong Kong, the Georgian capital Tbilisi and Curaçao in the Caribbean are among the new destinations accessible from Brussels Airport this summer for the first time.

The airport has unveiled its summer timetable from 25 March, with 11 new destinations and two new airlines.

Cathay Pacific will fly four times a week to Hong Kong, while Hainan Airlines begins flights to Shenzhen in addition to its three weekly flights to Shanghai. Georgian Airways will fly twice a week to Tbilisi.

TUI fly adds Aruba and Curaçao in the Caribbean to its summer schedule. Other new destinations include Zadar (Croatia), Luxor (Egypt) and Kavala, Kalamata and Lesbos (Greece).

The new routes mean Brussels Airport will host 66 airlines this summer, flying to 211 destinations.
