The 10 best paid jobs in Belgium, according to the FPS Economy

Belgium's FPS Economy recently published a list of the country's 10 highest paying professions, starting with perhaps the most obvious, the CEO of a large company, write various Belgian media.

The directors of large companies in Belgium come in first place in the rankings, according to the official figures. CEOs earn a gross monthly average of €8,610.

In second and third place are ICT managers and business and administrative managers, with a gross monthly income of €6,725 and €6,527, respectively.

Marketing and sales managers come in fourth place, taking home an average of €5,841 gross per month. In fifth place are managers in the field of manufacturing, logistics and construction, with €5,702 gross per month.

Completing the top ten are statisticians, mathematicians and actuaries, followed by chemists, retail and wholesale trade managers, engineers specialising in electro technology and engineers in general.

All ten of the jobs in the list earn well above the Belgian national average salary of €3,192 gross per month.
